Job Summary

To work with the Producer, Production Manager, and Production Supervisor to effectively prioritize, organize, and manage the work flow of digital production. To delegate and supervise subsequent work in their assigned departments and to communicate effectively with other Production Coordinators.


• Work with the Producer, Production Manager and Production Supervisor to define, setup, and manage the schedule for completion of the work on the production.
• Assist Production Supervisor in all evolving support needs (including duties such as calendar booking, updating schedules and documents, etc)
• Take and distribute notes in reviews and sessions; follow up on action items
• Track completion of artists tasks in our digital tracking system
• Set up and run reviews, both for in house sessions and cross site reviews with remote studios including building playlists, checking attendees and room set up
• Assist Production Supervisor with maintaining quotas, deadlines & inventory, ensuring departmental productivity goals are consistently met

• Understands the department workflow and works with the Supervisor to maintain the department schedule and milestones
• Checks in with artists daily on creative progress and helps remove roadblocks
• Meet with Producer, Production Manager and Production Supervisor to discuss and troubleshoot priority issues (such as manpower issues, or schedule difficulties which might affect other departments down the pipe.) (daily, weekly, as needed)
• Communicate with the Producer, Production Manager, Production Supervisor and other Coordinators working on the film to prioritize, and if necessary, adjust schedules as required (daily or weekly as needed).
• Provide detailed weekly status reports to leadership indicating departmental progress.
• Facilitate communication between all departments working on the project.


• Bachelor Degree preferred
• 2 years of previous Feature Animation production experience required
• Knowledge of Linux, Maya, Photoshop, Flix a plus
• A team player who has an interest in creating a positive, and inspiring work environment
• Ability to “think outside the box”, presenting ideas and solutions to Producers
• Ability to organize and coordinate individuals and teams
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced production environment
