Job Summary

The CG Generalist is responsible for creating final CG elements for use in the production of live-action and fully CG images. Responsible for handling a variety of tasks as assigned by the CG Supervisor.

THIS POSITION WILL BE AN AFTER HOURS POSITION IN DALLAS

Potential shifts: 6PM – 2AM; 12AM – 8AM

Responsibilities

• Participate in modeling, rigging, animation, texture and lighting needs of a project.
• Perform technical and artistic work of shot lighting using Maya, and other proprietary software.
• Work with CG Supervisor and/or CG Lead to determine what elements and or other 3D tasks might be required for a particular shot.
• Regularly meeting with CG Leads and Supervisor to apprise him or her of the progress of your work.

Qualifications

• Must possess technical and artistic communication skills.
• As a generalist you should have an overall understanding of, and at some degree of quality be able to model, texture, light, and animate.
• Able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment.
• Enjoy working in teams.
• A creative problem solver who is organized and critical of his or her own work
