This position is for our Dallas studio.

The Commercial division is looking to expand its team with a Senior Designer / Art Director with at least 5 years experience in Commercial and/or Feature Film production. This role involves overseeing and directing the day to day operations of an assigned project, ensuring that the Creative Director’s vision, quality bar, design concept, and client needs are maintained and consistent throughout.

• To work with the Creative Director to develop the concept, design, and quality bar required for the production, taking into account the advantages and restrictions of 2D and 3D animation, and the production schedule and budget.
• To work with the Creative Director to create and maintain a locked concept and design style for the project, ensuring its adherence through design, cg and vfx.
• To build strong communication and consistency among the design department, aiming at creating a strong, inspiring, and productive team atmosphere.
• Provide art direction, supervise, and mentor staff.

• Degree/diploma in Fine Art, Computer Graphics or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Requires 5 years minimum experience in Commercial and/or Feature Film production.
• Strong design, animation, & compositing skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
• A creative thinker with a strong sense of concept development and an eye for composition and typography.
• Must have advanced skills in After Effects, Photoshop, as well as 3D skills in C4D.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
• Comfortable with client communications and presentations.
• Proven abilities in conceptualizing, organizing, and managing projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to create a positive, productive, and exciting work environment through his/her own ability to inspire others.
• Excellent Teamwork – ability to assemble and motivate teams and work effectively with others.
